This site should deserve more publicity as it is one of the best sites that I have seen so far that contains top quality icons. No kidding, you will never know how many slick design icons you have missed until you have visited FreeIconsDownload =)

Different version of icons available

The site is carefully categorized into popular sections such as Application, Business, Food, Funny and Sports just to name a few. With more than 17 categories and hundreds of selected icons, I find it very easy for me to locate any icons that I want.

You are also able to download different version of the icons from the site. The three versions available for download are Windows, Mac and Linux.

Most of the icons’ creator would require you to provide a link back to them. This is definitely worth the effort after seeing most of the icons you can download there. The following are some of the icon set that I like very much!
